The month of September is National Recovery Month. There will be plenty of events for people in recovery and those that support them. We continue to build our recovery together by gathering with others and joining the circle of recovery.
On September 16, 2017, support those individuals who are making the choice for a sober life by attending the 13th Annual Ride for Recovery.
The Ride for Recovery motorcycle ride and family picnic supports Livengrin's mission by increasing public awareness about the disease of addiction and treatment while raising funds which directly benefit patient programs, charitable care, and other services.
This year's picnic will include a bounce house, slide, game truck, horse and carriage rides and other activities for kids. For adults, there will be volleyball, horseshoes, a band, a DJ, vendors and other happenings. Food will be served throughout the day. The picnic will wrap up with a meeting and finish with Livengrin's first-ever fireworks display!
The price is $10 for picnic attendees and $25 for motorcycle riders. You can register by clicking here.
We are in need of volunteers!!! Please read the volunteer flyer by clicking the button below. All recovery house residents are encouraged to speak with their house managers about the Ride for Recovery volunteer options. Please share the flyer with your friends!
