Step 2: Came to believe that God could restore us to sanity.(World Big Book)
Ephesians 1:7 (NLT) 7 He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.(GODS BIG BOOK)
Freedom was purchased ! The elemental dark spiritual forces of this World have enslaved us and we are bound with self made chains created by the stuff of this world . We daily wage war against self ! it is a Spiritual battle that we generally don't understand for lack of knowledge. God knew beforehand that we would become bound by the dark elemental spiritual forces of this world. Their sole purpose is to keep us bound to physical death and then enslave our spirit for all eternity . The question is , where is your Spirit going !Your Spirit will go to Heaven or hell ! God wanted to spare us this terrible fate so He sent His son who became like us and live like we do here on earth. He experienced pain suffering beyond anything we could imagine to take our punishment for our sins. God and his son Jesus Christ did this out of a great love for us. Without them we will remain bound sentenced to a life of misery and then the ultimate price paid, our souls go to to a place called the lake of fire where we will experience unending torment and pain.
