Our state has over half a million veterans, and even more active duty and reserved members of the U.S. Armed Forces. This population faces unique, unimaginable challenges and it’s absolutely crucial that we do our part in getting them the access that they need to high-quality treatment.
It’s also common for spouses, children, parents, and siblings of servicemembers to struggle with addiction alongside or in absence of their loved ones. The mental and emotional stress that military families are faced with can often trigger substance abuse, which is why we believe it is equally important to provide accessible treatment options that can support them as well.
That’s why we’re excited to announce that we’re now accepting TRICARE Insurance, the only health care program offering comprehensive health and wellness care to members of the U.S. Armed Forces (active duty, retired, reserved) and their beneficiaries.
Every year, more and more men and women who serve in our military come home injured or affected by mental health disorders like PTSD. In this population, nearly 1 in every 15 develop a substance use disorder. This is the reason why access to effective and hyper-individualized addiction treatment is so important for servicemembers past and present, and why we’re so proud to now be in network for all who have TRICARE insurance.
