In honor of Pride Month, NAADAC welcomes you to learn more about treating and supporting those suffering from substance use disorders within the LGBTQ+ community with the below resources.

NAADAC offers two free on-demand webinars regarding treating members of the LGBTQ+ community. Providing Culturally Competent and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Affirmative Care, presented by Philip T. McCabe, CSW, CAS, CDVC, DRCC, and Influences on Addiction and Mental Health in the LGBT Population, presented by Mary Sue Green, PhD, LMFT, each provide valuable information for practitioners providing services to individuals identifying as members of the LGBTQ+ community.

The NAADAC 2019 Annual Conference in Orlando, FL on September 28 - October 3, 2019, will feature a breakout session titled Substance Use Disorder: Military Veterans and LGBTQ Populations presented by Ami Crowley, EdD, ACS, ICADC, MCAP, Justina Wong, BA, and John "JJ" Jackson, BA.
