How are You Tending To Your Thoughts?

Our thoughts are more powerful than we realize.

Thoughts are energy. Though subtle and invisible, they affect our reality daily.
Overtime, many of us cast ourselves into the throws of addiction with limiting thought processes that have been altered from trauma, negative experience, or actions from others.

We create expectations and future realities in our head of what an experience will be like, which keeps us in a cycle of fear and prevents us from staying present living in the here and now.

This week, I asked what about a fear you had or have had while getting sober. What a cathartic process it was reading all your answers and relating to each one. When we know that we're not the only one having the same thoughts, stepping through these fears can become that much easier.

Post your answer, here, and check out the rest of this week's highlights below.

🔔 Recovery Coaching 015

At the beginning of the year, most of us never thought that a worldwide pandemic would strike.

In the past 6 months, most of us had to put plans, hopes, and goals on the back-burner - resulting in disappointment, and the fear of a loss of control of our lives.

However, despite the disappointment, could this be an opportunity for growth?

🎙️ Lotsaholic with Adam Jablin

For many of us, substances silenced the endless negative self-talk we heard daily. However, after awhile that stops working.

In a state of denial, it took an intervention by his family for Adam to receive help and begin to separate himself from alcohol. Today, with over 14 years sober, his book chronicles his gut-wrenching journey from addiction to recovery.
