In 1994 while pregnant with my first child, I woke up from a dream where I felt I was being cut. It was not a dream where I felt my baby was being cut out of me, it was that I was being cut all over my body. This Is My Brave is in search of a singer/songwriter to create an upbeat, original theme song for the organization. This song has the potential to be the opening song to our storytelling shows, just as the Sara Bareilles song "Brave" was our unofficial theme song for the past 6 years. It needs to be as inspiring, uplifting, and powerful as our storytellers, full of the hopeful message that recovery is possible and you are never alone.
