He will draw on his experience with the Texas Recovery Initiative and the El Paso Alliance to describe how providers can move support services for people with substance use disorder and HIV into a recovery oriented system of care; the background of the movement to do so in Texas and beyond; best practices in the field; and the growth of peer recovery and HIV supports.
