Spread Christmas Cheer for $2.25

Dear Joseph, I love seeing the excitement on my boys' faces when they open their Christmas gifts. It is infectious, and I can't help but be excited too! But oftentimes, my mind wanders to the men, women, and children experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia who haven't felt the joy of the holiday season in a very long time. Homelessness is a lonely condition that leaves thousands feeling rejected and unloved. For our guest, Gerard, struggling to overcome addiction, he fell into hopelessness and was seeking a place of refuge. Gerard came to the Mission in search of a meal and was desperate to find hope. After a short stay in the emergency shelter at the Mission, Gerard began growing in his walk with God and learning the skills he needed to thrive. This is the greatest gift you can give this Christmas season. This Christmas, you can ensure that homeless men like Gerard have a warm place to stay and a hope for a better tomorrow. A special Christmas meal at the Mission only costs $2.25 per guest. In addition to a hot meal, your gift provides clothing, toiletries, and a bed for guests to sleep in at night. This is also a wonderful opportunity for people like Gerard to hear the message of God's love.
