No One Should Die Alone

Dear Joseph,

An empty bed to remember those lost. Today is National Homeless Persons' Remembrance Day, the day we honor those who passed away while experiencing homelessness this past year. Please take a moment and join us as we pray for those still facing a life on the streets.

Living without a home is a harsh, lonely life. Our homeless neighbors face a greater risk of violence, with a much higher risk of being assaulted than someone with consistent housing. Those with chronic medical conditions are unable to afford care or vital medicine. They spend every day feeling rejected and dehumanized, and many of them pass away alone.

We ask that you help us honor those lost by taking a moment today to pray for those still facing a life in homelessness. Please help us pray that they would find stability at our Mission, stay safe when they are on the streets, and know the love God has for them.

Yours in Christ's Service,
Jeremy Montgomery
