Fentanyl is a manmade narcotic used as pain reliever, generally, after a surgery or as a part of any medical treatment. In other words, it is a potent synthetic opioid drug used to relieve pain. Some branded drugs are composed using Fentanyl. It is stronger than morphine but it can be fatal in case of addiction or overdose. Fentanyl is a very potent drug and it comes with its own signs and symptoms of abuse, though many are commonly found across all drug abuse users. We take a look at what abuse of this drug looks like and what long-term abuse can do to a person.
Substance abuse is not a cheap habit by any means. Addiction to a substance like alcohol can be expensive. If you go out to a bar every night and have a few cocktails, that’s $30-$40 extra dollars you could be putting away for yourself. Yes, addiction can have a severe impact on a person’s financial status, but that’s not the only cost we are talking about. Addiction can have a literal and figurative cost, affecting relationships, physical health, and mental health.
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is an illness caused by an unfortunate incident, whether it is felt or seen. Symptoms may include retroactive flashbacks, hallucinations, extreme panic, uncontrollable anxiety, and depression. Most individuals suffering from trauma respond with moods that range from anxious to depressed. Such responses are normal and for most people. PTSD is the enduring product of horrendous trials and tribulations, whether it be sexual or physical abuse, sudden loss of a loved person, injury, war, natural disaster. In our latest blog, we discuss everything else you need to know about PTSD and how it can cause other issues in life if left unchecked.
