BUT I SPENT THANKSGIVING IN PRISON Let me clarify that. Nowhere else I’d rather be on Thanksgiving than prison.... sounds crazy to most people, but to be able to go behind bars to inspire men and women who are away from their families, 90% are Mothers, 80% are fathers, 95% of whom are coming home, is truly a God given blessing! Many people forget that incarceration affects entire families. My goal for the coming year is to stop the 'revolving door' to prison. But a main focus of mine as you know are school kids. and teens that are fed a mass amount of false or misleading information on the dangers of drugs. Kids are being encouraged to “try” everything. As perception of harm goes down, youth use of marijuana goes up. Despite what the State of Colorado, numerous proponents of marijuana and the industry have states, youth use has absolutely escalated, and this can be easily proven. Anti-Vaping legislative initiatives have recently made the news and rightfully so.
