NAADAC is looking for a new National Certification Commission for Addiction Professionals (NCC AP) Testing/Certification Coordinator to provide day-to-day support to NCC AP’s Testing Program Manager and Certification Senior Manager.

This full-time position will work in a team environment with NAADAC staff and the NCC AP Commission.
The NCC AP, under the auspices of NAADAC, operates as an independent body for all matters involving NAADAC’s substance use disorders counselor certification and endorsement opportunities at the national and international level.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has just released a new publication - Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) in the Criminal Justice System: Brief Guidance to the States.

This brief provides guidance to state governments on increasing the availability of evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) in criminal justice settings. This guidance addresses the challenges to incorporating MAT, key considerations for establishing MAT in criminal justice settings, and existing standards/guidelines.
