As NAADAC members, it is our responsibility and in our best interest to have a role in shaping emerging policy, both in Washington, D.C. and in our state capitols. While much attention is being paid to the national conversation, most of what influences a provider’s day to day operation occur at the state level. Join us to learn how YOU can make a difference for addiction professionals in your state! |

| Michael Kemp, NCACI, ICS, CSAC, CSW, is the Director of Peer Recovery Services at Oregon State Hospital – Salem. Kemp has been a NAADAC member since 1995 and serves as co-chair of NAADAC’s Public Policy Committee.

| Sherri Layton MBA, LCDC, CCS, began working in the addiction treatment field in 1977 and has worked for La Hacienda Treatment Center since 1992. She is co-chair of NAADAC’s Public Policy Committee and has served on that committee since 2008. |
