NAADAC Featured in a USA Today Opioid Awareness Campaign
|
NAADAC partnered with Mediaplanet for its recent major national Opioid Awareness media campaign distributed through USA Today. The goal of the Opioid Awareness campaign is to shed light on opioid use and highlight resources for those directly affected by the opioid epidemic and their loved ones regarding prevention, pain management, treatment and recovery from opioid misuse.
NAADAC Executive Director Cynthia Moreno Tuohy contributed an article on the role of licensed and certified addiction professionals in the addiction crisis titled Why Certified Addiction Professionals Are Imperative to Treatment.
