CAN (Community Alliance Network) &
Continue to Make an Impact Today!
Successful treatment requires having
the right partners for long term care.
Forgotten Mom has been continuously aligning itself with different leaders in the addiction community and opiate awareness initiative. Reawakening’s Wellness Center of Miramar, Florida has been among those in the front line in efforts to collaborate with any and all ethical facilities willing to continue to make a difference and save lives in what everyone including our president considers a national epidemic.

RWC, one of  several sponsors has taken the first leap by continuing to offer much needed detox treatment beds to help those patients in need, no matter what their personal financial circumstances are.

Senator Jack Latvala Hosts
The Opiod Roundtable
Part of this initiative came forth after our founder was cordially invited by Commissioner Mckinlay, and Senator Laktavia. Mckinlay truly is committed to the opiate awareness epidemic and is determined to help all those suffering from addiction especially the mothers, their loved ones and our community.

All facility owners need to come together to unite and join forces, to make sure that the proper care can continue to be provided for those patients in need. We need to work together to provide long term recovery and successful treatment. We are the ones with the ability and knowledge to do so.

We are committed to align with all ethical hard working facilities in South Florida to let the nation know the good guys have always been here and are continuing to make a difference, and we will be the voice of the addicted.

It is heartbreaking to learn that 399 people died from opiate abuse so far this year in Palm Beach County alone! Last year 592 deaths occurred in Palm Beach County and 582 deaths occurred in Broward county from Drug related incidences!

Loss of treatments beds is stagnant in Florida.  For example, Palm Beach has approximately 1.4mm people with only 24 beds available to them!
Now more than ever, all community advocates need to align; we need to speak up and help those in need. South Florida Addiction Professionals need your support to be able to do so. If you are seeking professional help for you or a loved one who is battling with the disease of addiction, it is imperative that you do your due diligence.  Forgotten Mom and its constituents will become a resource, we will have www.forgottenmom.com as a 24/7 hotline and directory to assist you in this matter. Some of us have committed our lives to helping those in need, and we need to be heard.
