#NAADAC2020 Was a Huge Success!
| | The NAADAC 2020 Annual Conference: Learn, Connect, Succeed, was our biggest conference yet!
Over 1,300 attendees from all 50 states and 13 countries gathered together online to network, learn from some of the best trainers in the country, and earn up to 28 CEs. Thank you to those who joined and made this an amazing conference!
To those who attended, don't forget to get your CE certificates for the sessions you attended. For step-by-step instructions on how to obtain your CEs, please go to the NAADAC website.
Next week, NAADAC will release recordings of all educational sessions that took place during the Annual Conference so you can watch the sessions you missed. NAADAC will notify you when these recordings become available to view on demand.

| | NAADAC 2020 Virtual Hill Day Is Next Week!
| Attend the NAADAC 2020 Virtual Hill Day next week, on October 6-7, 2020, and learn how to use your voice to advocate for your fellow addiction professionals and the clients you serve!
Join us for a virtual welcome, briefing, and Q&A on October 6, 2020 at 1:00-3:00pm ET. On October 7, 2020, NAADAC members, leadership, and other addiction professionals from across the country will join together for virtual meetings with Members of Congress and their staff on Capitol Hill.
NAADAC is pleased to announce that U.S. Representative Paul Tonko (D-NY) will join us on October 6th and will address Hill Day attendees on the importance of advocacy for the addiction profession. Congressman Tonko is a member of the Congressional Addiction, Treatment and Recovery Caucus and is a strong supporter of expanding access to substance use disorder treatment.
There is no charge for this exciting virtual event! Earn up to 2 CEs!

| | Congress Goes Purple for National Recovery Month
| In honor of National Recovery Month, Representative David Trone (D-MD) organized a bipartisan awareness effort to recognize National Recovery Month in Congress.
Legislators held virtual and in-person events throughout September to elevate voices in recovery and held a Congressional Day of Action on September 16, where legislators lead the "Congress Goes Purple" initiative.
This initiative included legislators wearing purple in honor of National Recovery Month and taking to Twitter on September 16 to raise awareness on addiction and recovery. Representative Trone, along with eight other members of the House and Senate, created and shared a short video on social media to raise awareness, fight stigma, support recovery, and #EndTheAddictionCrisis.

| The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is holding a Virtual Job Fair on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, from 6:45pm - 10:15pm ET.
HRSA’s Virtual Job Fairs connect healthcare sites with job-seeking primary care trainees and practicing clinicians. Medical, nursing, dental, and mental/behavioral health clinicians and trainees are invited to attend and learn about the hundreds of opportunities currently available in the behavioral health field.
During the fair, you will be able to talk with healthcare site representatives for about 15 minutes inside "virtual breakout rooms" to discuss their site, the communities they serve, and their current available positions. Before the fair, complete a clinician profile on the Health Workforce Connector so that interested healthcare sites can follow-up with you after the event.
