Just days left: A story of hope

CityTeam Chester Annual Bluegrass & BBQ Updates

CityTeam Chester's Bluegrass & BBQ

Dear Joseph,

The power of one changed life never ceases to amaze me. James shares his story of life change. One day at a bus stop, he prayed,

"God, please help me, and He did. He brought me here to CityTeam. I was happy and blessed to have a roof over my head, food in my belly, and clean clothes...the learning center showed me that I'm capable of more."

James' Story - Part of CityTeam for Life

It's stories like James' that fuel us to continue sharing God's unconditional and redemptive love by continuing to offer food, shelter, spiritual care, and life-transforming programs.

Your support is crucial as we love our neighbors together.

While our annual Bluegrass & BBQ event is virtual this year, we continue to see our entire community rally together to help keep our programs going.

I am glad to report that so many people have stepped up to offer help in support of our programs. We are at 48% of our goal to ensure folks, like James, receive the supportive housing, training, and critical care needed:

If you've already made a gift to support our programs, thank you so much. It is because of your generosity that we can continue providing food, shelter, training, and care for people like James.

If you have not yet had a chance to make your donation, now is the time. Your donation will help us get closer to our goal to raise the funds necessary to carry on and expand services to meet growing needs in our community.

We are trusting God to provide through you and others like you. You may donate directly at cityteam.org/bluegrass

Thank you again for all the ways you are part of our work in sharing God's unconditional and redemptive love with so many people in need of immediate help and enduring hope.

With deep gratitude,

Kwinn Tucker
Executive Director, CityTeam Chester
