Hello Everyone,
Here's the Status of our Luncheon:
Scheduled for (Sat. April 18th): Please RSVP by Sun. April 5th
I spoke to the Restaurant last week and we are remaining hopeful that things will turn around with the pandemic situation so that they'll still be able to host the event - it's 25-days away from today - please read Adelphia's Statement below.
Let's keep praying for God's sovereign intervention with our Nation, we plan on making a final decision on Mon. April 6th; I'll let you know if the restaurant cancels before then, or if the AV Board of Directors decides to reschedule the event for precautionary reasons.
"Our God is a mighty God, he reigns from heaven above" Ps 47:8
Blessings, Daniel Gavin Sr. Executive Director
Adelphia Statement:
We are doing our part to responsibly mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 coronavirus. It is of utmost importance for us to keep our patrons and staff safe. We want to reassure our customers that we have doubled our efforts to sanitize and develop protocols consistent with the recommendations of health organizations.
We have implemented thorough cleaning and sanitizing protocols for the dining room, nightclub and banquet facilities including all surfaces, checkout registers, door knobs, etc. We have stocked up on gloves for the staff to use during various tasks. Any staff member showing symptoms is encouraged to stay home. Signs displaying tips for proper hand washing have been posted. These are just a few of the many steps we are taking to keep our patrons and staff safe. We are closely monitoring suggestions from the CDC and will take all necessary steps to help reduce the spread of this virus.
Bill and Evelyn Balis want all of our guests to feel comfortable when visiting Adelphia. We are actively addressing this ongoing situation. Please reach out to us if you have any concerns.
Thank you!
