House of Ruth Maryland remains committed to providing services to victims of intimate partner violence.
In order to best serve our clients, our staff and our community, we have made the following adjustments to our locations:
24-hour Hotline: Open - 410-889-7884
Courthouse Locations: Open. Courthouse locations will remain staffed for emergency matters. Emergency matters include domestic violence petitions. Statewide 24-hour legal hotline is also open: 888-880-7884.888-888-880-78841-888-880-7884
Emergency Shelter: Open - for assistance, please contact our 24 hour hotline at 410-889-7884.
Administrative Offices: Closed to the public - essential staff will be onsite to provide services to clients. Legal Services available at 410-554-8463.
Community Engagement Center: Closed to the public. All training attendees will be contacted directly for rescheduled dates. All meetings will transition to conference calls and video conferences.
Brentwood Offices: Closed - for assistance please contact our 24 hour hotline at 410-889-7884. Client sessions will be scheduled remotely.
Highlandtown Office: Closed - for assistance please contact our hotline at 410-889-7884. Client sessions will be scheduled remotely.
Montgomery County Family Justice Center: Closed - - for assistance please contact our 24 hour hotline at 410-889-7884. Client sessions will be scheduled remotely.
Gateway Project and Si Puedo: Groups have been suspended through March 27.
The Harry and Jeannette Weinberg Donation Center: Closed until March 27.
Ruth's Closet and Ruth's Repeats: Closed until March 27.
House of Ruth Maryland will be continuously monitoring the situation and will share updates at they are available.
