March 10, 2020 NAADAC Participates in Congressional Roundtable On March 3, 2020, NAADAC participated in a small roundtable on Capital Hill hosted by Representatives Kennedy (D-MA), Tonko (D-NY), Matsui (D-CA), Cardanes (D-CA), Trone (D-MD) and Chairwoman Eshoo to discuss barriers, challenges, and solutions for improving our mental health and addiction care systems. House Hearing: Implementation Delays and Combating the Crisis NAADAC closely followed the March 3rd House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health hearing entitled, “Combatting an Epidemic: Legislation to Help Patients with Substance Use Disorders.” The Committee spent time over the course of the five hour hearing, examining additional measure to address the addiction crisis in America. Read more about the hearing and the bills discussed.
