"L et me start by saying that before I came to Narconon Louisiana I would never have thought I would be anything other than a menace to society. I thought I was invincible and nothing could stop me from doing what I wanted and getting what I wanted. I hurt everyone that was close to me and pushed them away every time I did drugs. My life became very miserable, especially after I lost my three children to the state because I could not stay clean.
“I lost my house, my car, and my family all to drugs and the more I lost, the more I did drugs to cover up the pain and hurt that I was causing myself. I finally hit rock bottom and decided after doing two other treatment centers that I would try one more. I came to Narconon Louisiana and within three days I fell in love with the program.

I knew that this would be the program that worked, and I would learn how to be sober and live a happy, drug-free life. Throughout the program, I learned how to confront my problems head-on and how to deal with them without blowing up and fighting with somebody.
“Narconon changed my life by giving me the tools to help me change my life. I am now sober and happy and have established good communication with my family for the first time since I’ve been 13 years old. On one of the steps of the program, I realized with certainty that I would be okay and not go back to my old ways. I knew then that only I was in control of what I did and that it was only my fault that I was in the situation I was in.
“After that day I started to take responsibility for my actions that I did in the past and in the present. This program gave me a new start in life. I am so glad that I stuck with it and finished the program.”
