intensive2019 Men's Intensive Dates Released

L.I.F.E. Recovery recently released two dates in 2019 for Men's Intensives. These weekend-long workshops are equivalent to 6 months of weekly counseling, making these intensives great "hacks" to accelerate someone's recovery journey.

The intensives are held in a meeting room in an Orlando, Florida hotel that has convenient access to the airport and places to eat.

One of the biggest eye openers, according to past participants, is how the L.I.F.E. trauma model focuses on the reasons one latches on to addictions rather than focusing on the inappropriate behaviors. This model solidifies recovery by finding the root causes and helping the addict face them.

Dan Phillips, facilitator of the intensive, is known for his extensive interest in how addiction affects the brain, adding another in-depth degree of education to the program.

The two weekends scheduled are in June and October. For more information, please visit http://freedomeveryday.org/sex-addiction-workshop/
amazonCan We Ask for a Moment of Your Time?

As you may know, last summer, L.I.F.E. Recovery moved all of its resource fulfillment and shipping to Amazon. Not only are workbook and resource orders being delivered quickly, all of our core materials are also available on Amazon Kindle.

If you have used our materials, and feel led, we would love a review on Amazon so that others will hear first-hand how our recovery materials and program have affected others.

devotionalWeekly Devotionals Available

We began posting weekly devotionals on our website last year and they are probably not what you expect! Supplied by Dave G., a long-time volunteer in the L.I.F.E. Recovery program, and former pastor, these devotionals are not recovery focused.

Not everything you read or watch needs to be recovery-focused after a certain point in your recovery journey. These devotionals are focused on bringing us closer to God, building our relationship with Him, the Key to our recovery.

If you would like to read past devotionals, please visit http://freedomeveryday.org/category/devotional/

Devotionals via Email

We recently began emailing these devotionals each Sunday when they are released on the site. While we chose select recipients, we want to make them available to all who would like to receive them.
