Learning to Make Peace with The Past

Last week I asked you what some of your goals were for this month and the following people responded: Sarah, Missy, Terry, Leo, Nathan, Terrance, Cameron  How are each of you doing? What action steps have you taken to get there, and how can the group support you? A theme I noticed this week on Sobriety Engine was forgiveness, humility, and making peace with our past. Setting attainable goals and learning to ask for help can be the beginning to an incredible healing process. For so long we've run on auto-pilot of thinking we "have it all" or "can do it on our own."  However, when we get sober we must learn to deconstruct this way of thinking. Accepting help is hard. But living in addiction is also hard. Which path are you choosing today?
