Monica Driscoll
Caron Recovery Center in Philadelphia is excited to welcome Monica Driscoll as the new Executive Director of Caron Recovery Center in Philadelphia, PA. As executive director of Caron Philadelphia Outpatient Treatment Center, Monica Driscoll oversees administrative and clinical operations.

She is enthusiastic about supporting the Center’s success, having spent 25 years in the mental health field. That experience has made her adept at all facets of treatment center operations, from policy and procedures and compliance to marketing and human resources.

Prior to Monica's operations experience, she was a clinician, working as a counselor as part of a mobile crisis team. Monica has a Master of Arts degree in counseling, and has attended a leadership training program at the Center for Creative Leadership.

Dr. Steven Teich
Dr. Teich is also transitioning to Medical Director of Caron Philadelphia. Dr. Stephen Teich is a graduate of SUNY Downstate Medical Center and completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Vincent’ Hospital in Manhattan. He spent 33 years as a private practitioner in adult cardiology at the Abington-Jefferson Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania, and has served as Director of Visiting Student Education in Cardiology on behalf of several medical institutions in the Philadelphia area including Temple, Thomas Jefferson, Drexel, and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Teich was awarded with Temple University’s Blockley-Osler Award for Excellence in Teaching and Abington Hospital’s Golden Apple Award. Dr. Teich had left retirement and entered the field of addiction medicine because of his desire to join the therapeutic community in the face of the ongoing epidemic of substance abuse.
