Attention Licensed and Certified Addiction Counselors and Certified Peer Recovery Specialists in Pennsylvania

A Plan of Action toward creating a Pennsylvania NAADAC Affiliate
The Affordable Care Act, parity, integrated care, and many other developments – both in practice and policy – are reshaping the addiction treatment and recovery industry. For these changes to provide meaningful improvement in outcomes for our clients, our voices need to be heard. Parity in client care and in salaries for the addiction professionals and peer recovery support specialists who provide it.

Negotiations on a variety of issues are proceeding around tables at every level. It is critical to the counselor profession as well as to our clients that the voices of the professional care industry be at every table.

NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals, offers us the opportunity to be united and to be heard!

A small task force of NAADAC members are working toward a revitalization of our state affiliate and working under the premise that a state affiliate would give us a stronger voice for our work. We are seeking input and participation from You!

Your opinion matters.

Please take a few moments and complete this brief survey to help us better understand the needs of addiction professionals in Pennsylvania and build a stronger affiliate.

Thank you for your help, your voice, and your participation! We will be in contact with you to advise you of the results of this questionnaire and the action steps that will follow.

Thank you!

Sincerely,
Cynthia Moreno Tuohy, BSW, NCAC II, CDC III, SAP, NAADAC Executive Director
