Justin W.
Jesus Continues to Break Chains

Like most of us, Justin often finds himself distracted by the responsibilities of everyday life. When Justin first tried Oxycontin, he was able to excel at school and his job. The pressures of life seemed to disappear. Eventually this lifestyle caught up with him; he started experiencing withdrawals at work and then lost his job. From that point on, Justin admits he spent years "just surviving". He used everyone he could. He lied, stole and sold drugs to support his habit. This lifestyle brought the wrong people into Justin's life. One of those relationships ended in an aggravated assault that led to an extensive brain surgery. A full recovery was not expected; but God had other plans for Justin, and healed him completely.
Justin's parents had tried many times to help their son break his chains of addiction.  This time, help was contingent on enrollment at His Mansion.  Once in the program, God made His unconditional love known through Justin's parents and from that point forward, he re-dedicated his life to Christ.
Eight months after graduating from the program, Justin again turned to opiates instead of trusting his relationship with God. It did not take long before he found himself in the same position as before: lying to the people who mattered most, stealing, and again, losing his job. Although he had turned his back on the Lord, his Heavenly Father did not give up on him.... For three and a half years, Justin has said "no" to a crippling drug addiction. The Lord used Justin's time at His Mansion to plant seeds of a hope that never disappoints; because we serve a God who never gives up on us and will fight relentlessly for our good.
