January 29,2019 Through The Twelve Steps With Spiritual Truth From Scripture TODAY STEP 3

January 29,2019 Through The Twelve Steps With Spiritual Truth From Scripture TODAY STEP 3

STEP 3. We made a decision to turn our lives and our wills over to the care of God.

Psalm 86:5 (NLT) O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.

Have you made this decision yet ? Are you struggling to stay above water ! With the help of Jesus Christ you can walk on the water! You will not sink as long as you surrender control to Him and God our Father. The steps of all the different fellowships say the same thing. Unfortunately someone some where pulled God and Jesus out of the 12 step formula taking away the power that brings healing and wholeness to our hearts, minds, and lives. God our Father wants so much to help you live life to the fullest! He sends us a helper His Holy spirit who resides in our Hearts to assist in all of lifes ups and downs. His forgiveness for our rebellion opens the doors to our man made prisons! We are released to live a life of freedom designed to bring us peace, joy, and the courage and strength to recognize that on our own we are lost here in life and at our death we will be lost when we cross over into eternity. Listen to that small still voice that brings you thoughts of going Gods way! Stop listening to the inner critic who lies to you around the clock filling you with doubt, fear, sadness, and hopelessness. The inner critic is your enemy who is trying to keep you doubtful, confused, depressed, and self medicated so you will remain blind and numb to the truth and freedom that comes from Step 3 ,giving God and his Son Jesus Christ complete control buy inviting them into your lives asking them for forgiveness and help of the Holy Spirit to live the life you were meant to live.

1 Corinthians 1:18 - The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God.
