NAADAC is proud to announce that the recently elected additions to the NAADAC Executive Committee have taken office.
Every two years, NAADAC members have the opportunity to select officers who will determine the direction of the Association, and represent their geographical regions on the NAADAC Executive Committee. All NAADAC members are eligible and encouraged to vote for the candidates within their region. All 2019-2021 terms began on October 4, 2019.

2020 Minority Fellowship for Addiction Counselors Is Now Accepting Applications
|
The NBCC Foundation and NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals, are pleased to announce that the 2020 application period for the National Board for Certified Counselors Minority Fellowship Program for Addictions Counselors (NBCC MFP-AC) is now open.
This program is made possible by a grant awarded to the NBCC Foundation in collaboration with NAADAC by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The program will administer up to 40 master’s degree-level counseling fellowships of $15,000 for addictions counseling students, plus the travel expenses to participate in other program-related trainings.

Participants will be able to identify the different domains that a provider must understand in order to provide the best service to the military-affiliated population.
This webinar is part three of a six-part specialty training series entitled Addiction Treatment in Military & Veteran Culture. Those who successfully attend the full webinar series and pass all six CE quizzes for this six-part series will be eligible to apply for the Certificate of Achievement for Addiction Treatment in Military & Veteran Culture.
