Apply Now for a 2019 Communities TalkPlanning Stipend
FacebookLinkedInTwitter
The Communities Talk: Town Hall Meetings to Prevent Underage Drinking initiative is sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) as the lead agency for the Interagency Coordinating Committee on the Prevention of Underage Drinking (ICCPUD).

Every two years, SAMHSA distributes planning stipends to community-based organizations, institutions of higher education, and local or statewide organizations to host Communities Talk events to educate youth, families, and communities about the potentially harmful consequences of underage and high-risk drinking among individuals 12 to 25 years old.

This year, SAMHSA is providing $750 stipends to the first 1,000 organizations that register to host a 2019 Communities Talk event. The stipends are meant to assist in planning and hosting the event in your community. The number of stipends is limited. SAMHSA will distribute them on a first- come, first-served basis.

To apply for a stipend, please send an e-mail (Subject: Communities Talk Invitation Request) to info@stopalcoholabuse.net.
