Of course, your partnership is what makes it possible to restore the communities in which we live and work — home by home, street by street — through programs like CityTeam in the Neighborhood.
CityTeam in the Neighborhood is our food and community services outreach. It’s all about relieving the challenges low-income households, in particular, face as they try to put food on the table and keep the lights on.
With the COVID-19 crisis still putting once-financially stable families at risk, more moms and dads are coming to CityTeam for help.
Through CityTeam in the Neighborhood, we offer care and compassion for families like Rosa’s. She came to us for help when her husband was laid off from his construction job. With seven mouths to feed, they were struggling even more. “It was a very difficult time,” says Rosa. “We ran out of diapers and food."
Rosa’s family received, and continues to receive, the help they need to get through the crisis. She says, “I don’t have words to say how helpful CityTeam has been.”
