Call for Presentations
Present at the 2019 Annual Weekend Conference!

June 7 - 9, 2019

Fill out your Call for Presentation form today!

Women for Sobriety is seeking engaging, interactive facilitators to lead a variety of breakout sessions and workshops throughout our 2019 Annual Conference Weekend. Our overall theme for the upcoming Conference ishappiness, joy, and enthusiasm in recovery.

We are seeking facilitators for two types of sessions this year:
  • Informal Activities - Craft projects, guided meditations, morning exercise groups, yoga, meet and greets, WFS Online forum labs, evening wind-down activities, and just plain organized fun! We want to fill up Thursday and Friday with fun ice-breaker activities to help new attendees feel welcome and "part of," and also provide wake-up and unwind-from-the-day activities in the mornings and evenings for our early birds and night owls.No need to fill out the full Call for Presentations for these informal activities - just emailvolunteer@womenforsobriety.org with your idea!
  • Workshops - Formal breakout sessions and workshops with New Life Program content experts (that's you, 4C woman!) and field professionals. These are 90-minute sessions designed to deepen and enhance women's understanding of the New Life Program and/or tools for a lasting and happy recovery from Substance Use Disorders. Use the Call for Presentations form to help walk you through planning a dynamic and interesting session. Have a great idea but not sure how to turn it into a plan? Let us know, and we will assist you in developing your idea into a great workshop!

We are also pleased to announce a second keynote speaker this year! In addition to the wonderful and talented, Karen Drucker, please join us in welcoming...
E-Presentation by Annie Grace!
Annie Grace, a favorite of many of our WFS Online participants, has generously agreed to address our crowd of 4C women live via the web! Grace is the author of the popular book "This Naked Mind: Find Freedom, Discover Happiness & Change Your Life" and also has an active blog and podcast sharing knowledge and inspiration for persons in recovery.

We are excited to expand our 4C repertoire into the electronic realm to bring even more value to our Conference attendees!
