Talbert House Is Here For You

Talbert House: Building a Stronger Community...One Life at a Time.
Dear friend of Talbert House,
As a community, we are facing new and trying times related to the COVID-19 pandemic. At Talbert House, we are working to keep our clients and staff healthy and safe, while ensuring there are critical services needed by so many.

Talbert House is here if you need us.

While the services may be delivered in different ways, we are accepting new clients and serving our current caseload. All reports indicate the need for mental health and addiction services is more important than ever. Our website will be regularly updated with the status of our individual programs. The list can be found here.

And in addition, we know this is a time of unprecedented uncertainty and stress for adults and youth alike. 281-CARE hotline is available 24/7 to anyone who is in crisis, needs support and/or information and referral. Anyone can access this hotline funded by the Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board by calling 513-281-CARE (2273) or by texting "talbert" to 839863. Those living in Brown County can also access 24/7 crisis support funded by the Brown County Board of Mental Health and Addiction Services and United Way of Greater Cincinnati by dialing 2-1-1.

Please feel free to share this information and let us know if we can help in any way.
Continuing to operate these services has put a strain on our resources and has required an increase in purchasing of PPE items such as masks, gloves and thermometers. While our expenses climb, we are proud to be able to serve those most at need in our community. Our hearts go out to those greatly impacted by the changes that have occurred in response to the pandemic.

Many have asked how to help. If you are able, one way is to consider a financial gift to fund the additional supplies needed to keep our clients and staff safe and healthy. No amount is too small.

Together, we will overcome and rebuild as a community. As we have for 55 years, Talbert House is committed to building a stronger community…one life at a time.
Our crisis hotline is still available 24/7 if you or a loved one need assistance:
