Still Time to Share Easter Hope & Give Vital Help Today

Your Gifts of Meals and More Change Lives

Hello Joseph,

I wanted to be sure you saw the recent CityTeam update I sent you. Even since last week, we're continuing to see spikes in need the number of to-go meals and emergency food boxes increases. This is how we are serving our community this Easter and throughout the current crisis.
According to recent nation-wide research, about one in three people seeking groceries at not-for-profit pantries last month have never previously needed emergency food aid.
Our teams are dedicated to helping this new wave of families and individuals who now need help. This Easter, will you join us in serving the people in our community who are most in need right now
Gratefully,
Kwinn Tucker

Dear Joseph,
My staff and I are overwhelmed by the response that we’ve received from so many over the past few weeks. We’re asked daily, “How can I help?”
Almost everyone I talk to wants to know more about what’s happening on the ground as we deliver our services in new ways during this important time. In this email, I will specifically highlight what we are doing to provide food where it is needed most – one of the key focus areas in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
We've ramped up our outreach ministry to provide more food, groceries and supplies. Food insecurity is a growing concern in the communities we serve as many individuals and families have already lost work and a growing number of people face even greater financial strains than in normal circumstances.
We've experienced an uptick in the number of individuals and families who are coming to us for help since the shelter in place orders came into effect. For the past couple of weeks, we’ve increased our capacity to provide more food to more neighbors in need
We're serving hot meals in to-go containers, providing curb side pre-packed groceries for households facing sudden food insecurity, and providing vital essentials for babies like diapers and formula.
What’s more, we are working hand-in-hand with our partners and local food banks, to see how else we can help people during this critical time when our help and services are needed now more than ever.
We do this so we can help neighbors like Jessica, who shared with us just this week:
“I lost my job and I ran out of money and don’t know what I’m going to do. I have 3 kids, and this is a very scary time for us. I’m so grateful for this food that CityTeam brings here to our apartment complex, because we really need it right now.” -- Jessica
We’re continuing to explore other ways we can expand and multiply our efforts. We cannot do this alone and need the support of our broader CityTeam community. Here's how you can help today

Provide Emergency Food Boxes and Essential Supplies
Please consider giving to support our COVID-19 Crisis Response efforts as we feed and care for our neighbors in need in our community.
  • Every $35 helps provides a bag of groceries for a family in need.
  • Each $1.89 helps provide a to-go meal for someone who is hungry.
  • Every $50 helps provide diapers and formula for babies.
We are grateful we can share God’s love with our community in such tangible ways and we hope you will join us to help meet our neighbors’ urgent needs today, right from your own home.
Thank you for your continued support of our ministry, particularly in these unprecedented times. May God bless you and may you feel Him close to you.
With gratitude,
Kwinn Tucker
