Nominations are now being accepted in a Special Election for the open position of NAADAC Mid-Central Regional Vice President for the term 2018-2020. This RVP represents the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas and sits on NAADAC’s Executive Committee. The nomination period is open from October 24, 2018 to November 16, 2018, with special election voting taking place November 26, 2018 through December 21, 2018.
Must be a NAADAC Professional or Retired Member in good standing.
Must reside and work in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas.
A minimum of two years of active engagement in the addiction recovery profession immediately prior to the nomination.
A minimum of two years of experience on either the NAADAC Board of Directors or a NAADAC Affiliate Board.
Attend briefings on legislation, national budget, and advocacy issues, and receive training for visits to the Hill on November 12, and attend meetings on Capitol Hill on November 13.
