(Smith) Blount, PHD Title: Providing Family-Sensitive Treatments for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder When: November 15, 2019 Time: 9:00 am -12:00 pm Where: Laurel Ridge Education Center (Formerly Hope Church, Across from LRTC) 17903 Corporate Woods Dr., San Antonio, TX 78259 Objectives:  Identify the bidirectional relationship between family dysfunction and PTSD. Construct family-sensitive case conceptualizations of PTSD symptoms Integrate family-sensitive interventions into empirically-supported PTSD individual treatments. Apply a couple therapy modality to the treatment of combat-related PTSD. Participants must preregister. Check in begins at 8:30 am and doors will close promptly at 9:15 am. Participants must stay until the end of the training in order to receive CEUs. 3 CEUs will be provided for LPC, LMFT, LCDC, Social Workers and Psychologists. All other licensees please refer to your licensing board. Please Note: We will not reissue certificates.
