STEP 2-Came to believe that God, a Power greater than ourselves, could restore us to sanity and stability.
At the end of a really long difficult day and you are alone in your head and we can't seem to find anyone around is when the voices speak the loudest. Those voices belong to your Spiritual enemy and if we listen and start to give in we will go down the same road we have always traveled. Loved ones mean well but no matter what they say if we have agreed with those voices their words and warnings are useless because we have already given in and we are on our way out. For myself personally, I needed more and still need more than friendly advice or a stern warning from a friend. The only absolute, powerful, trustworthy, and supernatural help, I can count on is the voice of Gods Holy Spirit. One Hundred percent of the words spoken by your spiritual enemy is lies and all he wants to do is rob, kill, and destroy. God wants to love, protect, and bless you. Step three is critical if you are going to maintain and experience lifelong transformation.Recovery is good but Transformation of mind body and Spirit will take life to a level you never thought would be possible.
Romans 12v2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
