Final "Act Challenge" Results

The Results are In! Thank you to everyone who biked, walked, ran, swam, or kayaked to support survivors of human trafficking. Together, we surpassed our goal of 30,000 miles by July 30, "World Day Against Trafficking" and logged 31,955 miles! For every mile logged on our website, our Act Challenge sponsors pledged to make a donation to help provide safe housing and restorative programming for survivors of human trafficking, resulting in $85,299 funds raised! So Now What? The funds raised from the Act Challenge will be used for the following projects Dan mentioned in his video above: 1. Adding onto the Education and Counseling Center- Additional classrooms are currently being built so participants can have soundproof spaces for therapies and meetings. 2. Opening a second thrift store- Funds will be used for start-up and renovation costs at our Worthwhile Thrift Collegeville location. 3. Launching a graduated housing program- Materials and building costs for renovating 3 apartments. 4. Expanding the Worth It program- We always want to be reaching more survivors in more areas and the Worth It program is how we can meet survivors where they are at.
