We are pleased to share that effective Thursday, October 1, 2020, Caron Treatment Centers’ Pennsylvania residential programs will be considered an in-network substance use disorder treatment provider for Aetna. Under our new agreement, Aetna members seeking treatment at Caron will have access to Caron’s Pennsylvania-based programming for teens, young adults, men, and women through their healthcare coverage - regardless of where they reside in the country. Aetna members’ costs for treatment will be subject to their deductible, co-insurance, and/or co-pays.
This agreement expands the insurance agreements with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, UPMC, AmeriHealthNew Jersey, and Independence Blue Cross, among others. Creating these agreements ensures that Caron makes life-saving addiction treatment available to more individuals and families, guiding them on a four-week, transformational journey that will serve as their first steps down the road to Recovery for Life.
As an alum, family member, or friend of Caron, you are a key source of hope and healing in your communities for those seeking recovery from addiction. It is because of the inspirational work you do every day to share the light of your recovery with others that we will be able to help hundreds of others access the treatment services they need this year. As you continue to serve as beacons in your communities, we wanted to make sure you were aware of Caron's value-based agreements, and our continuing efforts to make quality care more accessible to those who need it most.
To better understand how Caron provides individuals and families greater access to Aetna plans, please contact your Alumni Coordinator or visit Caron.org for more information. For those not covered by our in-network insurance options, please visit our website to learn more about our payment options.
