NIDA for Teens: Advancing Addiction Science

Apply for the 2020‒2021 NIDA Feedback Teams!

Are you a teen, educator, or parent/caregiver interested in sharing your thoughts and ideas about drugs and health directly with the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA)?

NIDA is looking for real-time feedback on various NIDA resources and initiatives. We are recruiting teens, educators, and parents/caregivers to serve on Feedback Teams to share their questions and concerns related to drug use among teens, and to help NIDA develop information and resources that are informative, useful, and engaging.

Who can apply?

  • Teens currently enrolled in grades 7 to 12 anywhere in the United States
  • Educators who currently teach or work directly with students in grades 7 to 12 in the United States
  • Parents and caregivers of at least one child who is enrolled in grades 7 to 12 in the United States

How to apply

Visit the NIDA Feedback Teams information page to learn more about the opportunity and request an application.

Applications are due October 4, 2020.

What should I expect?

NIDA Feedback Teams will meet virtually a maximum of three times between October 2020 and June 2021. Each online meeting will last about 1 hour. Selected participants will earn $25 for participating in each virtual meeting, and at the end of the year, they will receive a Certificate of Participation.

We encourage all those who are eligible to apply! Please note that NIDA has limited spots for the 2020–2021 Feedback Teams and that submitting an application does not guarantee a spot.

If you have questions, email NIDAfeedbackteams@iqsolutions.com.
