July 27 ,2018 Through the Twelve Steps With Spiritual Truth From Scripture
Proverb 12 v 15 - The way of a fool is right in his own opinion, but the one who listens to advice is wise.(GODS BIG BOOK)
STEP 1. We admitted we were powerless over our addictions and compulsive behaviors, that our lives had become unmanageable.
I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. Romans 7:18 NIV
(GODS BIG BOOK)
Someone called me a Fool a long time ago and it hurt ,but it worked. That arrow shot at my heart got stuck and for along time nagged me ! First was the anger at the person who said it! In time that arrow began to open my eyes and I started to question every part of my life !Acceptance came next! The person who called me a fool was right and now I hated what I became. Surrender of self was next and what followed was what they call a miracle. The person that shot that Arrow does not know what they said changed my life and I am grateful. The verse above in not intended to harm its meant to heal.
