Bridges to Change Employee Recognition Awards

Megan Allen was voted our Most Valuable Person for this round of employee recognition at BTC.  She is the program manger in Clackamas County for our mentor programs.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

FACTS:

  • Substance abuse has been found to co-occur in 40-60% of intimate partner violence incidents
  • Women are five to eight times more likely than men to be victimized by an intimate partner
  • On average, more than three women a day are murdered by their intimate partner in the United States

  • Treating substance use disorders and mental health issues with violent behavior is essential
