Spring Recap Spring Certified Recovery Specialist Training Class This spring, the MCRCC schloarshipped ten individuals to become Certified Recovery Specialists! Stay tuned to our future newsletters for more information on upcoming CRS and CFRS training opportunities. A solution to a common challenge We have great news! Transportation is often discussed as one of the biggest barriers to accessing recovery support services. The center now has a new van that will help remove some of those barriers for our participants. Special thanks to the Montgomery County Offices of Drug and Alcohol & Managed Care Solutions for funding of the minivan! Volunteer Appreciation At our Family Recovery Day, volunteers Mark Zebrowski and Sharon Reading were awarded Certificates of Appreciation by Claudia Herman, our Recovery Programs Specialist. We are now recruiting volunteers to help at our front desk and with table events. The center is also in need of group facilitators and peer mentors for those who are interested in working 1:1 with participants. Download our Volunteer Application today!
