Will become aware of the role of substances in creating and exacerbating the symptoms of schizophrenia Will understand some of the factors that contribute to the high rates of substance use in individuals with schizophrenia and the resulting treatment implications.     Presenter: Dr. Alan Fine Medical Director Colorado Recovery Dr. Alan Fine, psychiatrist, is the Medical Director of Colorado Recovery. He is the past Medical Director of Foothills Behavioral Health Partners, Aurora Presbyterian Hospital Psychiatry, and Denver Center for Mental Health Services. Dr. Fine has extensive experience in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health centers He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and Colorado Psychiatric Society. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Princeton University and a medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.    ‌  ‌  ‌
