What does it mean to be a Recovery Specialist?
A Recovery Specialist is defined as an individual who provides one-on-one client and family services within a treatment setting and/or client's home, community or travel and has completed the accredited training offered by International Recovery Institute.

Recovery Specialists work with clients and their families who suffer from substance abuse, addiction, mental health and eating disorders, process addiction and many other co-occurring issues.

This training provides an International Recovery Specialist Certificate of Completion by The International Recovery Institute, valid for two years. NAADAC approved Continuing Education (CE) hours are awarded and can be utilized towards state and national credentialing certifications.

International Recovery Institute's virtual training offers 24-hours of comprehensive and interactive learning and online independent study, followed by 3 weeks of consultation groups. Twice weekly meetings over Zoom.
