What's Happened This December at Sunday Breakfast

Help Provide Joy This Year

With the end of the year quickly approaching, we'd like to thank you for your continued support of the Mission. Because of your support this year, we have served more than 166,023 meals and cared for more than 2,385 individuals. None of this would be possible without the help and generosity of you and friends like you.

Now as the weather gets colder and the health crisis continues, consider making one last gift before the end of the year. Together we can make a difference for those experiencing homelessness.

Shower Renovations are Underway

Below is a message of gratitude from Rev. Jeremy Montgomery. From all of us at Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission, we are so thankful for your help in getting this important project underway.

We're excited to share that because of the help from friends like you, we've started the renovation of our new showers on the third floor at the Mission. Thank you for the part you all played in helping us reach our goal in such a short amount of time.

With Your Support, We Passed our Goal!

This year for Giving Tuesday, we set a goal for $15,000, and together we raised over $18,000! Your continued support has allowed us to serve those experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia and we are so humbled by the support patrons like you continue to show us.

Along the way, we were able to provide gifts to our guests as we reached our goals. Because of the support of donors like you, we were able to provide our guests with winter packs, which include a winter scarf and beanie.

AFP recently recognized us for our COVID-19 Response on National Philanthropy Day. Our staff has worked relentlessly to follow physical distance guidelines while ensuring our guests did not feel socially isolated. Our mission could not do it without our staff. We thank you!
