LIVENGRIN E-NEWS Ride for Recovery XIII The month of September is National Recovery Month. There will be plenty of events for people in recovery and those that support them. We continue to build our recovery together by gathering with others and joining the circle of recovery. On September 16, 2017, support those individuals who are making the choice for a sober life by attending the 13th Annual Ride for Recovery. The Ride for Recovery motorcycle ride and family picnic supports Livengrin's mission by increasing public awareness about the disease of addiction and treatment while raising funds which directly benefit patient programs, charitable care, and other services. This year's picnic will include a bounce house, slide, game truck, horse and carriage rides and other activities for kids. For adults, there will be volleyball, horseshoes, a band, a DJ, vendors and other happenings. Food will be served throughout the day. The picnic will wrap up with a meeting and finish with Livengrin's first-ever fireworks display! The price is $10 for picnic attendees and $25 for motorcycle riders. Why wouldn't you Step three your Life! Imagine everyday you awake there are Gods mighty Angels waiting and guarding your every move. Angels are real and we need them! I couldn't count a number of times I have escaped danger and certain death back then in active addiction. So even in the craziness, I believe they assist because I should be dead when I look back at the Life I lived. Step three your life and pray believe and trust you can't go wrong when you have an Army of Angels watching over you.

Overdose Awareness Day 2017 Today marks International Overdose Awareness Day, so let’s do our part to prevent more loss and suffering. The overdose numbers keep climbing. Every day, we lose 144 people to an accidental drug overdose. One place to start to build awareness to reverse this trend is through social media.
