A Washington University research study is attempting to identify genes protective against opioid use disorder.
Whether you have misused opioids just once, or up to 60 total times, you could be perfect for our study (even if other substances are major problems for you).

Participation in our genetic study involves:

  • A single, confidential 1-3 hour telephone interview that asks about substance use, psychiatric illness, and trauma
  • Providing a saliva sample as a source of DNA
  • Receiving a $75 gift card after completing the study
To check if you may be eligible, scan the QR code, or visit our website (which provides more information, including the steps we take to protect the confidentiality of study participants).
You can also contact us via email at omstudy@wustl.edu, or visit our Facebook page.
