It’s normal to care about what others think and worry about how our decisions will impact them, but once we allow the fear of disappointment to take over, we’re simply hitting our own head against the wall.
The fear of disappointing others is a powerful negative emotion that can eat away at our happiness, our passions, and even create resentment.

Pauly's Story
Sober since February 17, 1989, Pauly A. was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin to a loving family. He says he had no reason whatsoever to pick up drugs or alcohol.
Coming up on 32 years sober, Pauly’s sobriety is a testament to leaning on others and consistently practicing a program. Pauly also hosts our morning Roundtable meetings on Sobriety Engine three times a week.
