April is Metro Drug Coalition's anniversary month! To commemorate our 32 years of providing evidence-based substance abuse prevention services, we are having a giving campaign for the community to donate $32 throughout the month with a goal of reaching $3,200!

We have currently raised $1,309!

If we have 60 more individuals donate 
$32 we will reach our goal!

2018 William White Scholarship for Student Research Papers
WW Scholarship
Are you a student looking for ways to gain recognition in your field and ease your tuition burden?

The William White Scholarship was created to promote student addiction studies research and reward students for their work.


The scholarship will be awarded in 2018 to the two best student addiction research papers based on any of the four specified topics. One graduate NAADAC student member will receive $2,000 and oneundergraduate NAADAC student member will receive $1,000. Each recipients will be recognized at the #NAADAC2018 Annual Conference in Houston, TX, in the Fall 2018 issue of Advances in Addiction & Recovery magazine, and on the NAADAC website.

Applicants can choose any one of the following four topics:
  • Recruitment of Young Professionals in the Addiction Profession;
  • Community Mobilization/Development for Substance Use Disorders;
  • Reducing Stigma and/or Discriminations; or
  • Social Justice and Substance Use Disorders.
