| | NCC AP Announces Updated Exams for NCAC I, NCAC II, MAC Now Available
| The National Certification Commission for Addiction Professionals (NCC AP) is proud to announce that it has released updated exams for the National Certified Addiction Counselor, Level I (NCAC I), National Certified Addiction Counselor, Level II (NCAC II), & Master Addiction Counselor (MAC) credentials. The new exams are available as of September 1, 2020.
The newly updated NCAC I, NCAC II, and MAC exams have undergone a rigorous revision, beta testing, and psychometric analysis, and these tests are the most current, updated, and timely addiction-specific tests available.
The newly updated exams strengthen these national certifications available for professionals working within substance use disorders/addiction-related disciplines wishing to demonstrate their skills gained through years of supervised work experience and specific course work.

| Join NAADAC in celebrating National Recovery Month! This national observance is held every September to educate Americans that substance use treatment and mental health services can enable those with a mental and/or substance use disorder to live a healthy and rewarding life.
This year's theme - Join the Voices for Recovery: Celebrating Connections - embraces the challenges experienced in 2020 and reminds people in recovery and those who support them, that we all have victories to celebrate.
On Tuesday, September 29, 2020 the National Council for Behavioral Health and its partners are hosting a virtual Recovery Month Luncheon from 3:30-5:30pm ET. The two-hour program will include a nationally recognized keynote speaker, a Recovery Month Proclamation presented by a federal officer, table-top breakout discussions, musical entertainment, and much more!
